Microsoft Excel provides several ways to Password Protect Workbooks. You can assign two types of passwords to workbooks: Password to open and Password to modify the workbooks. In this tutorial, you will learn How to Password Protect Your Excel Workbook by assigning Open and Read-Only Passwords. Password To Open will protect the workbook by asking the editor to enter a password to open the workbook.
